Some really exciting news for CeCe Winans fans! CeCe is heading home to Detroit, Michigan this Thanksgiving here in the States to sing the National Anthem at the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game. This is an American football tradition that’s been part of Thanksgiving culture for decades.
She shared that she grew up in Detroit watching this game every year with her big family, so getting to sing at it now feels especially meaningful to her. We love seeing moments where an artist gets to honor both their roots and their faith on such a big stage.
The Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Classic, presented by Ford, will air nationally on FOX at 1 PM EST.
